Waitlist privacy notice

Last updated

This notice explains what happens to the information you give us when you join the Cosikyo waitlist. It covers the waitlist only. The Cosikyo app isn't available yet.

What we collect

  • Your email address (required).
  • Your university, if you choose to enter it. This is optional free text.
  • The date and time you joined.

To protect the waitlist from abuse, we limit how often the form can be submitted. Our rate-limit counters store a one-way, keyed hash, never your email address or IP address itself, and old counters are deleted automatically. Like any website, our hosting provider may also process technical information such as IP addresses in order to deliver the site.

How we use it

  • We use your email address to send you updates about Cosikyo's launch, including when you can get access.
  • If you add your university, we use it to understand where interest in Cosikyo is coming from and to plan our launch.

Your details are stored in the Cosikyo waitlist database. They aren't published, and the website has no public list or export of signups. If you join more than once with the same email address, we keep a single entry.

How long we keep it

We haven't set a final retention period yet. We'll update this notice with it before we send launch invitations. You can ask us to remove your details at any time.

Removing your details

To be removed from the waitlist, or to ask what we hold about you, email cosikyo@gmail.com from the address you signed up with.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we use waitlist information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
